Jesus is Bringing us Home

We look at our lives and, if we’re honest, we see very little glory. We see struggle and hardship and failure. We wonder what happened to the dreams we once had. We have been beaten up and cast aside. But the gospel offers us something new. In Christ, the story of our past failure can become his story of glorious redemption. Our mediocre present can become the sanctuary of praise. Our uncertain future can become highly anticipated consummation. In short, in the gospel, Jesus is bringing us all the way home to God. We may have some rough patches to wade through, but the destination is nothing less than glory.
