Things of the Sort collects only the information needed to provide the features you choose to use.

Email subscriptions

When you subscribe, your email address is sent to Mailchimp or Substack, depending on the publication you select. Those services process your information under their own privacy policies. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

Contact messages

Information submitted through the contact form is used only to receive and respond to your message. It is delivered through Resend and is not sold or added to a mailing list.

Analytics

The site uses privacy-conscious Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and site performance. It does not use advertising cookies.

External and affiliate links

Links to Substack, social networks, Amazon, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices. Some Amazon links are affiliate links, which may result in a commission at no added cost to you.
